Every electricity and gas plan for your postcode, ranked by price.

Retailers publish every offer to the Australian Energy Regulator. We read all of them each night and rank what applies to your network by estimated cost. Nothing promoted; every plan cites its record.

Cheapest electricity at 4,000 kWh a year: ActewAGL Smart Saver plan time-of-use on Evoenergy (ACT) at $78/mo estimated; the dearest state's cheapest is $129/mo (South Australia), read 2026-11-08.

Cheapest electricity, by state

One card per state at 4,000 kWh a year, from the regulator's listings read 2026-11-08. Estimates from published rates, not retailer quotes; the network a home is on decides its price.

Which end of each state's range you are at depends on your bill. Check your bill against every published plan: postcode, the kWh on the bill and the amount.

Same usage, state by state

Same usage. Very different bills.

One household using 4,000 kWh a year, priced on every published plan in each state. Demand-priced and variable-priced plans are left out because they have no single honest figure. GST as published, conditional discounts excluded. Read from the regulator's feed 8 Nov 2026.
